Makeup Classes Makeup Artist Crash Courses:     $395 (4 Hours) Learn the skills to become a working makeup artist. Starting with your makeup kit, the tools of your trade & how to use them. Next color theory and the art of color application. We'll teach you various makeup application techniques, and the secrets of the trade. Regardless of your level of experience — in our crash course, you will get hands on experience; a completion of course certificate; and our manual ($40 value) to refer to when you leave and practice at home. Complete makeup kit available for purchase at 50% off retail price. Note: DISCOUNTS FOR STUDENTS ONLY. Professional Photo Session:     $895 (4 Hours) In this photo session class, you learn the do's and don'ts as well as the technical aspects of makeup application for black & white and color photography. You participate in an actual photo session in the studio of a professional photographer here in NYC. You will receive a CD of before and after digital images of your model for your portfolio, a completion of course certificate, and our sixty page manual to refer to when you leave and practice at home. Note: The Crash Course is highly recommended as a prerequisite for this course to maximize your learning experience. One-on-One:     $195 (2 Hours) This one-on-one course is geared toward individuals who would like a jump start to break into the makeup industry, or just want a better understanding of their own personal makeup application. Our makeup artists will sit with you one-on-one, and go through your makeup to determine which is the right look for you. During this makeover session, you will be taught special techniques to accentuate your strengths, taught which colors work best for you, and how to transition a day look into a night look. Bridal Know How: $150     (2 Hours) This Bridal course focuses on the specific needs of a bride on her special day. If you are either a makeup artist interested in bridal work, or a bride seeking tips on how to look your best, this class is for you. Learn makeup tips for long lasting, waterproof makeup, contouring and highlighting, and makeup for black & white or color photography. This class also deals with skills to market yourself as a makeup artist and how to earn a living from doing what you love. Makeup Lesson:     $95 (1 Hour) Going out — and not much time to get it all together? Whether it is a special event or just to look good for the right person, this one hour lesson will give you just what you need to make a great impression. While you are at it, add a professional blow dry for an additional $30 to complete the perfect look.
